Manage User Settings with or without Active Directory

Active Directory can be a powerful tool for distributing employee names, network settings, user groups, and administrative rules. Lancet Chat can pull that information from a domain controller to load pertinent information for users like full names and workgroups. You can also handle Lancet Chat's licensing and settings over the entire network using a Group Policy setting in Active Directory. If you don't have a domain controller, the app has built-in features to handle the same functionality.

Supports Both Local and Virtual Private Networks

Lancet Chat supports most modern private network protocols like LAN, WAN, VLAN, and VPN connections. Lancet App supports both Microsoft and Citrix Terminal Services. Its support includes virtualization technologies like XenApp and RemoteApp.

Control User Access

Network Administrators can restrict access to Lancet Chat features on a user by user basis to implement security policies. They can set selective restrictions, such as limiting a user to messaging and denying file transfer privileges.
